I agree with their assesment. Although I have never personally been a member or distributor of the Pharmanex organization, I have researched the Company through the information they publish on their site and I have brother and siste-in-law who have been consumers and marketing representatives for Nu-Skin, a compay associated with Pharmanex. They really found value in their products and used many of them. They enjoyed the relationships they developed with their sponsor and other members of the group. They still believe that Pharmanex and Nu-Skin are top notch companies and represent well grass-roots, mlm, Corporate America. And I agree, it is one of the best of the rest.
One main concern that all mlm, home based companies address is that of acuquiring leads and sales leads to build your business. Most of the leaders will tell you to make your list of 100 people, your leads, from your family and closest friends to your butcher, baker and candlestick maker. Then call them up and try not to sound like you are reading the prepared script. Yuck. Don't you hate this. Nobody home, leave a message. "I have been in the MLM market since 1992. I have seen them come and go. I have watched the potential leadership of many men and women destroyed by unprofessional and corrupt MLM businesses. I have seen the frustration of many who deserve great success and have that potential constantly allude them.
I own an MLM business. It took 12 years to build it. We waited until 3 years ago to launch it as a 3 level affiliate program. We built it on integrity not hype. It mostly has customers, not distributors. This set me to thinking.
So I started to analyze why so many MLM's grow so quickly then eventually collapse into obscurity. That reason is they lacked customers. The entire organization is sales people looking for more sales people.
